Privacy notice

The data controller is José Nicolás Salazar Kuri (an individual), who offers services under the Nico SK Coaching brand.

Mailing address for notices: Calle 20-A No. 45046 por 17-C y 13, Xcanatún, C.P. 97345, Mérida, Yucatán, México.

Email for privacy questions and to exercise your ARCO rights: j.nico.sk@gmail.com.

Identification and contact details: name, email, WhatsApp number, and the city and state where you live.

Work and education details: your resume or LinkedIn PDF (PDF or Word file) and everything in it, plus your answers to the service form, such as target role, industry, experience, accomplishments, education, tools, languages, LinkedIn profile or portfolio, or interview date.

Your photo: only if you ask for a photo on your resume in Resume from scratch. It's used only to place it on your resume.

If you request the guarantee refund: when you received your resume, how many positions you applied to, whether recruiters reached out, and how many times the document was edited.

Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we only keep the order record (name, service, amount, and date) for tax purposes.

Appointment details: if you book a session, the Google Calendar booking page asks for your name, email, and the time you pick.

We don't ask for sensitive information. Please leave details about your health, religion, ethnicity, political views, sex life, or other sensitive information off your resume. If it's there, it's only used to deliver your service.

When you visit the site, the server keeps technical logs (IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and to fix errors.

Purposes needed for the service: delivering what you purchased (reviewing, optimizing, or writing your resume, preparing your question bank, or optimizing your LinkedIn), running live sessions and their follow-ups, contacting you about your order by email or WhatsApp, processing your payment, handling guarantee and refund requests, and meeting legal and tax obligations.

We only use your information for these purposes. We don't use it for testimonials, advertising, or promotional messages.

We use these service providers (processors), who handle your information on Nico's behalf and only to deliver the service:

Supabase: stores your form answers and files in private storage that only the site's server can access. Its servers are in the United States (East US region).

Stripe: processes card payments in the checkout form on this site.

Google (Google Calendar): the booking calendar appears on the confirmation page. What you enter there goes to Google and is saved to Nico's calendar.

Google (Google Sheets): Nico gets a copy of your order (contact details, form answers and payment status) in a private spreadsheet in Nico's Google account, to organize his work. Your files (resume, photo) aren't copied there.

Vercel: hosts the site and keeps technical visit logs.

Resend: sends the emails about your order.

All of these providers have their servers in the United States, so your information is transferred to and stored outside Mexico. They may only use it to provide their service to Nico. We don't sell your information or share it with third parties for their own purposes, except when an authority requires it by law.

The home page shows Nico's TikTok profile (@nico.sak) using TikTok's official player. It loads when you scroll to that part of the page. Once it loads, TikTok may receive your IP address and browser details and set its own cookies, under TikTok's privacy policy. Nico doesn't receive that information.

If you block TikTok content in your browser, the rest of the site works the same and you'll see a link to the profile instead.

Stripe and Google may use cookies in their forms for security and fraud prevention.

For now, this site doesn't use analytics tools or tracking pixels (such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel), or its own advertising cookies. If any are added, we'll update this notice.

Your resume, LinkedIn PDF, and photo are used only to deliver your service. We delete them when the guarantee ends (2 months after delivery) for Resume optimization and Resume from scratch, or 30 days after delivery for services without a guarantee.

The order record (name, service, amount, and date) is kept as long as tax law requires, usually 5 years.

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or object to its use (known in Mexico as ARCO rights). You can also withdraw your consent or limit how your information is used.

To do so, email j.nico.sk@gmail.com with your name, the email you used to book, which right you want to exercise, and a copy of a government ID (or a document showing you represent the person).

We'll reply within 20 business days of receiving your request, as the law requires. If it applies, we'll carry it out within the following 15 business days.

If you believe your rights weren't respected, you can contact the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance), Mexico's personal data protection authority under the 2025 data protection law (formerly INAI).
